This week we will be finishing up the Bureaucracy. We will review on Monday and Tuesday and will test on Wednesday and Thursday. Daily grades and government agency profiles are due on Monday and we will have journals due on Friday. Friday, we will begin our discussion over Civil Liberties. Topics will include the discussion of the 1st amendment and the Supreme Court.

This week we will be starting our discussion over Supply and Demand. Monday and Tuesday will be demand. Topics will include law of demand, elastic and inelastic demand, and demand schedule and curve. Wednesday and Thursday will be over supply. Topics will include the law of supply, elastic and inelastic supply, and supply schedule and curve. We will review on Friday and daily grades will be given out on Tuesday and Thursday. There will be a journal due on Friday.

The first two weeks we will be covering the Bureaucracy. Topics will include bureaucrats, growth of the bureaucracy, types of agencies, organization, and legal issues having to do with bureaucrats. Daily grades will be given out this Tuesday and we will go to the library to work on your Government Agency profiles that you picked last week. Daily grades will be due by Friday and we will finish the notes for the chapter on Friday as well. There will be no journal this week.

We will be working on three chapters for the first two weeks. We will cover Basic Concepts the first two days and start Economic Systems by Friday. Vocab for the 1st two chapters is due by Friday and the daily grade on Chapter 1 is due on Tuesday. We will finish Economic Systems on Tuesday and start Role of Government as well. We will finish the Role of Government on Wednesday. Daily grades for ES and Role of Gov't will be given out on Tuesday, along with Vocab. They will be due by Thursday. Thursday we will review all the material and Friday we will test. There will be no journals due this week.

This week we will start discussing the Judicial Branch. Topics will include Article III, the Judiciary Act of 1789, criminal and civil law, Federal District and Appeals courts, the Supreme Court, and how they decide to hear a case. Daily grades will be given out Tuesday and Wednesday. There are no journals due this week. We will also finish our episodes of the West Wing dealing with the 25th Amendment and the process of Supreme Court judicial appointments.

This week we will talk about the Judicial Branch. Topics will include the Judiciary Act of 1789, John Marshall, the courts of the federal system, the Supreme Court, and how they decide to hear a case. Projects are due on Friday and the President's quiz will be on Tuesday. Daily grades will be given out on Monday or Tuesday. Thursday and Friday we will discuss civil liberties and rights and significant Supreme Court cases on the issues. We will review Monday and test next Tuesday.

We will review on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as take our President's Quiz. We will test on Thursday and Friday and you do have journals due on Friday.

This week we will cover the Executive Branch. Topics will include terms, qualifications, the 22nd and 25th Amendments, the Vice-President, role, responsibilities, duties, and powers. Daily grades will be given out on Tuesday. Our Georgia Congressional District Quiz will be on Tuesday. Daily grades and journals will be due on Friday. We will review Thursday and test on Friday.

Daily grades will be given out on Wednesday and Thursday, and we will quiz over the Presidents on Friday and Monday. There will be no journals due this week.
