Monday we will hand out the class syllabus, rules, and student information sheets. We will talk about class expectations and how the class is structured. The rest of the week we will begin our discussion over the basic economic concepts and economic systems. Topics will include micro and macro economics, scarcity, the factors of production, capitalism, socialism, communism, and opportunity cost. We will have daily grades on Wednesday and we try to go to the Media Center on Friday for an assignment. There are no journals this week and please try to bring back your signed paperwork by the end of the week.
