Jan 17/tuesday: Review the pronunciations of the days of the week. Then find a 2012 calendar and look up what day these holidays/events occur and write it in french. ex: St. Patrick's Day. It's on Saturday this this year so your answer would be: C'est samedi. Use c'est with each answer: remember it means "that's" or "this is. "*8 sentences total

Jan 12/wednesday: In fr. 1, we learned the numbers 1-30, practiced the alphabet and accents. A numbers puzzle was given as a handout. Do the entire side with the puzzle for homework.
wed/january 11: we learned about accents (handout) and practiced the alphabet(handout) and are learning how to spell our names. Practice spelling your name using the alphabet and your pronunciation sheet. We also learned how to greet people and say goodbye and use courtesy titles (Mr., Mrs. etc.)
le 15 decembre: make sure to remember your props for tomorrow's skit which is a 100 point speaking grade and chapter assessment. We had additional time to practice scenes and lines today for a participation grade. Be ready to present tomorrow!
le 12 decembre: we learned 2 new verbs: vouloir and pouvoir: to want and to be able to. We colored a stocking and write what we wanted from Santa. We practiced writing and saying this verb in class. See the ex. 30 on p. 202. Notes for this verb are on p. 201. HW: write 5 things you want for Christmas (1 verb), and 5 things you want to DO (2 verbs)for christmas:
