Semaine 8

le 28 fevrier: ex. 11,12 p. 6 ex. 14p. 7 workbook: practice with pronouns such as me, te, etc. The last exercise note that you are anwering the person. With infinitives, the pronouns go BEFORE the infinitive. Generally, most pronouns go before the verb.

Week 8/Semaine 8

le 28 fevrier: complete ex. 1,2,3 in the packet for the workbook/study clothing names noting masculine and feminine

le 28 fevrier: Choose 6 ER verbs from your flashcard deck. Write out all 6 forms in French using je, tu, il or  elle,or  on,  nous, vous, ils or elles. AVOID payer and acheter for now. also, complete ex. 8 p. 23 in the workbook-you will be conjugating verbs for this exercise.

le 16 fevrier/mercredi: We took a chapter  2assessment today, listening and reading/ writing . This is a large number of points-please make it up before Friday afternoon. I will not be here late on Friday. Be aware if the absence is unexcused you cannot make work up. I checked a review sheet with vocab on it for a writing grade.

le 16 fevrer/mercredi: we started writing scripts for our skits on French food shopping. Be aware that anyone absent on Friday, excused or unexcused, will take a written test as an alternative. We will be starting Ch. 7 in the book on Monday after the break. Be looking for good props for your skit-you can use real food if you want to, but don't cook your own recipes.

le 16 fevrier/mercredi: study for quiz on connaitre and savoir. Be sure you know when to use which. Also, be able to spell the different forms, especially the plural. Absent? complete the handout on the Impressionists we did in class and reviewed.

Week 7

le 14 fevrier/lundi: complete front only of worksheet ex. 6,7 with vouloir and pouvoir

Week 7

le 14 fevrier/lundi: Read p.20-21 in book about French museums-answer parts a and B. Bring in a picture of a famous person (big size so the whole class can see)-printing one out is okay too.

le 11 fev: going to the dance? Be sure to do the makeup work: worksheet on vouloir pouvoir, hw is  ex. 6 and 7 on a handout. Be sure you understand how to do the partitive: du, de la , des, pas de. Do ex. 20, 21 in the textbook on p. 197 if you are not here in class.

le 11 fevrier/vendredi: Complete :ex.12 and 13 p.11 BOOK  (conn vs. savez) AND ex. 5,6 wkbk p. 3

Note:You will miss the "je sais "presentation. You may make it  up it you wish before or after school.
