le 27 oct/vendredi: we are working on new vocab. about eating in cafes and restaurants, including a new verb prendre. No homework specifically, but study new vocab. words for foods and drinks.

le 27 octobre/vendredi: No homework, but if you were absent yesterday and   today, complete the following exercises in the book and turn in Monday: ex. 10, 11, 12 in book p. 301/write out complete sentences. Also, ex. 15, 16 on p. 304 also in complete sent.We practiced RE verbs and watched a video on the TGV, the high speed train.

 We  chose partners for a project due Nov. 9 about train travel which will be presented for a chapter test grade. See the accompanying info above at the link.

le 27 oc tobre/jeudi: club meeting on next tuesday November 2. We will be showing a movie and have some snacks for the movie. It will last about 45 min. with the  brief meeting before. Rm. 227 (mme. Kinley's room)

le 27 octobre: write 2 sentences for each RE verb: one with a singular pronoun and one with a plural pronoun/12 sent. total study RE verb endings and how to conjugate.

le 27 octobre/jeudi: complete ex. 1,2 i packet p. 43/study food vocab.

le 25 oct/mardi: Do review exercises 1,3,4 on p. 138-139 in book to review for test on family members, celebrations, and avoir and possessive adjectives: ma, son, votre etc. See vocab. on p. 112-113. How would you say how old you are?

Week 11

le 25 octobre/mardi: complete ex. 17 (in english) ex. 18, 19, 20 (in french) on purchasing train tickets. Be aware some sentences may be in the past tense: j'ai acheté =I bought for example. Study vocab. words about the train station.

le 21 octobre/vendredi: We took a took a listening/written and reading chapter test today. We are starting new vocab. on Monday about trains.

le 21 octobre/vendredi: Project on family members due: be ready to present on monday. We will have a brief practice session during class. 50 point speaking grade.The pictures etc. are props to help you remember what to say. See earlier posts for more detailed info.

le 20 oct/jeudi: Chapter test tomorrow on all of ch. 8: ir verbs, chapter vocab, tout/quel and travel in gen.see th quia links at the website mentioned several weeks ago and book mark the the site.
