Semaine 4: le 27 janvier-le 2 fevrier

le 30 janvier/lundi: study for etre verb quiz. Know what they mean, be able to use them with regular verbs mixed in.

Semaine 4

le 30 janvier/lundi: We learned all the forms of etre: to be and the  8 subject pronouns: I, You , He, She They, and We. We did several book exercises to practice with etre.

HW:Describe yourself using 5 adjectives in complete sentences.

Then describe a friend (guy or girl) using 5 adjectives. Make sure all adjectives   agree in gender!

Ex: I am nice, tall, brown-haired, shy and smart.

      Paul, a friend, is short, blond, friendly, smart and american.

 

Week 4

le 30 janvier/lundi: We reviewwed home places and practiced hearing them used with prepositions. We read and completed ex. a and b on p. 131 referring to the reading about houses. HW: Draw a simple layout of your home. Then label 5 rooms and write sentences using prepositions about them. Ex: My bedroom is next to the bathroom. My kitchen is near the entrance. Our living room is to the right of the dining room. etc

le 26 janvier/jeudi: Complete ex. 7 and 9 on the  handout. You may rewrite the verb above the other verb if you have room or do it on another sheet of paper. Be sure to remember which take avoir and which take etre! Study your etre verbs!

le 26 janvier/jeudi: Complete ex. 5, 6,7 on packet first sheet with house layout on it. Finish cutting out flashcards for house vocabulary and study vocab.QUIZ on mon, ma mes votre vos etc and family members tomorrow.

Next meeting will be a mardi gras party in my room (227) See the facebook site setup by Mia for a list of who is bringing what. This is Tuesday Feb. 21 after school.

le 26 janvier/jeudi: ex. 10, 11, 12 in workbook p. 5 study new vocab: soeur etc.

le 23 janvier/lundi: QUIZ tomorrow on past tense verbs with avoir. Know all the irregular forms such as vu, bu etc. We practiced today on these verbs/

wk3 fr. 2

le 23 janvier/lundi: describe 8 family members using your adjectives you've learned. Pets are okay too. Use mon, ma mes with each sentence.Ex: my sister is short and funny.

lundi le 23 janvier/ speaking assessment tomorrow! numbers, letters, accents dates and times be able to answer the questions on the screen you wrote down
