Academic Fees - 2009/2010 School Year

Attached are the Activity Fee Schedule for the 2009/2010 School Year.  Links to the forms are posted here for New and Returning cadets.  We are also going to allow 10% OFF of fees if you pay before Aug 1st for Returning cadets and  10% OFF for new cadets who pay before Aug 31st.

Please read the forms carefully and select the appropriate Tier for your child.  If they are any questions please email kmhsnjrotc@hotmail.com with your questions and also include your child's name and grade.

The KMHS Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) would like to welcome you!

This web site allows us to communicate to you in a timely manner as well as provide a means to access the forms  that are required for cadets to participate in a wide ranging set of activities in and out of the classroom.

Kennesaw Mountain NJROTC wins Distinguished Unit 2008-2009

Congratulations to all cadets and parents for making this such a successful year!!

Basic Leadership Training

BLT to be held at Bert Adams Scout Camp 19-24 July.  Turn in $50 registration fee to GySgt Smith ASAP.  Total fee is $165.

Once your $50 is received you will be issued registration forms

Summer Programs-UPDATE

Summer programs are starting to fill up the calendar.  Leadership Academy, J-Lead at North Georgia College, Leadership Seminar being held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Rifle Camp.  Details to follow but here are some of the facts we have for now:

Dates and number of cadets for Navy Leadership Academy is in flux due to canceling of Kings Bay berthing.  Stay tuned. Expect information late April

College Credit For NJROTC!!

College Credit for Naval Science Classes

EARN COLLEGE CREDIT FOR (NJROTC) NAVAL SCIENCE CLASSES

PARENTS:     1) Interested in having your son or daughter earn up to 15 college credits while in high school?

                        2) Interested in earning college credits without having to attend any additional classes?

                        3) Interested in earning college credits while at KMHS?

                        4) Earning college credits is optional, parents and students (after the students 16^th birthday), enroll at the following web site http://www.jrotccollegecredit.com/eohsnjrotc.php

                        5) Naval Science instructors are accredited as the college course instructor and document the course completion and forward the record for the student’s transcript.
