Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed notes and discussion on how chemistry is intertwined with biology.  Students completed an activity on elements and compounds.  It needs to be completed for homework if they didn't finish it in class.  Their guided notes and themes handout is due on Friday.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and a lab and internet study on the cell cycle.  Students need to complete it for homework if they did not do so in class.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students took notes and completed a lab on water.  For homework, students need to complete their lab handout and guided notes.  They are due on Monday when students return from break.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took their Unit 3 quiz.  For homework, students need to complete their reflection paper on GATTACA and the cell cycle handout.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed a lab simulation on dissolved oxygen and reviewed their ecology tests.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students finished watching GATTACA and completed a review on DNA and RNA in preparation for their Unit 3 quiz tomorrow.  If students did not complete their GATTACA reflection paper in class, they need to do so for homework.  It is due on the Monday students return from winter break.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students took their ecology test today.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed an activity on protein synthesis and started watching GATTACA.  Their Unit 3 quiz will be on Friday.

 

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students tooks notes and completed a lab on ecology.  Their test on ecology is on Wednesday.  Their themes handout is due on Wednesday.

Periods 3 and 4- Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and activities on RNA and protein synthesis.  For homework, students need to complete their RNA graphic organizer.  Period 3 needs to write their reflective paper on the debate following the guidelines given to them.  Their quiz on Unit 3 will be on Friday.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed activities and internet simulations on ecology.  Their test on ecology is on Wednesday and their themes handout is also due.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students participated in a debate on stem cell research.  For homework, students need to complete a reflective paper due tomorrow.  They will have their Unit 3 quiz on Friday.
