Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed notes and activities on RNA.  Students need to complete their summary on "RNA and DNA Revealed: New Roles, New Rules."  It is in the AP Biology Class Documents folder with the DNA and RNA power points.  They will have a quiz on DNA and RNA on Friday.  Their guided notes and themes handout is due on Friday.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed a lab and a reading on evolution.  Students will have their Unit 7 test on Friday.  Their bird buffet lab report is due tomorrow.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students presented their DNA songs and took notes and watched a video on RNA.  Students will have a quiz on DNA and RNA on Friday.  Their guided notes and themes page are due on Friday.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took notes on evolution and completed a lab on evolution/natural selection/competition.  Their lab report on this lab is due on Thursday.  They will have their Unit 7 test on Friday.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed notes and an activity on DNA.  They will have a quiz on Friday on DNA and RNA.  Their themes and guided notes are due on Friday.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and activities on types of evolution.  Their Unit 7 test is on Friday.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students created an organizer comparing and contrasting the contraction of a mucscle with a nerve impulse transmission.  They also compared and contrasted the nervous system of a human with that of a worm and a fish.  Students should be reading the A&P packet located in the AP Biology Class Documents folder.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and an activity on evolution.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed the tutorial at http://www.can-do.com/cui/ssi2002/digestivesystem.html.  They created a visual analogy tieing the ciruclatory, urinary, and digestive systems together.  They also read notes in the AP document folder (located in the A&P post) on the muscular and nervous system.  Students who took the GHSGT today should complete these at home.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took their Unit 6 test and completed handouts on evolution.  They need to complete these handouts for homework if they did not do so in class.
