Period 2 - AP Biology

Students had a photosynthesis/CR quiz.  Afterward, students reviewed for their AP exam.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students reviewed for the EOCT.  It is scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed a lab on cellular respiration.  Their quiz on photosynthesis and cellular respiration is tomorrow.  Their guided notes and themes handout are also due.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took notes on plants and reviewed for their EOCT.  The EOCT is Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

 

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed assignments on cellular respiration.  Their quiz on photosynthesis and cellular respiration is on Friday and the guided notes/themes handout are due as well.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes on fungi, plants, and animals.  They also reviewed for their EOCT scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed the remainder of notes for cellular respiraton and a virtual activity on the respiratory system.  Their quiz on photosynthesis and cellular respiration is on Friday.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes on protists and fungi and completed readings/Q&A on paramecium and ameobas.  For homework, students need to complete page 7 and 8 of their review packet.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed notes and an internet simulation on cellular respiration.  For homework, students need to review the respiratory system.  It can be found on the blog in the AP class documents folder under A&P.  Students also completed MC review questions in preparation for the AP exam.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and an activity on viruses.  If students didn't complete the bacteria and virus concept maps in class, they need to complete it for homework.  For homework, students need to complete pages 5 and 6 of their review packet.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed a lab on photosynthesis.  For homework, students need to complete a formal lab report on the lab.  It is due on Monday.  The rubric can be found in their syllabus or in the AP Biology Class Documents folder in my blog titled "syllabus."

Period 3 - Magnet Biology

Students completed notes and a handout on bacteria.  For homework, students need to complete page 3 and 4 of their review packet.

Period 4 - Magnet Biology

Using the attached power point, students need to read and complete notes on bacteria.  Students received the notes in class yesterday.  They also need to complete the bacteria worksheet they received in class yesterday.  Download Bacteria  For homework, students need to complete page 3 and 4 of their review packet.

 

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students completed activities on photosynthesis.  For homework, students need to complare/contrast linear with cyclic electron flow.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took their Unit 8 test and completed a handout on how quickly bacteria can reproduce.  For homework, students need to complete page 1 and 2 (a front and the back) of their review packet.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students took notes, watched videos, and completed an internet lab on photosynthesis.  For homework, students need to create a graphic organizer comparing/contrasting C3 plants, C4 plants, and CAM photosyntheiss.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students completed an activity on dichotomous keys and had a review in preparation for their Unit 8 test tomorrow.

Period 2 - AP Biology

Students took their test on the cell cycle, meiosis, and genetics today.

Periods 3 and 4 - Magnet Biology

Students took notes and completed activities on classification.  Their Unit 8 test is on Thursday.
