Students took their Unit 7 test today.  They completed readings on pgs. 36-40 and handouts on levels of organization.  For homework, students need to complete any work they did not complete in class.

Magnet Biology

Students completed a lab on natural selection and survival of the fittest.  For homework, students need to complete a formal lab report for the lab.  It is due on Monday.  Their Unit 7 test will be on Monday and students need to bring their textbooks as well.

Students completed a reading/Q&A assignment on evolution.  They completed a lab simulating evolution and survival of the fittest and we discussed if the population was in Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium.  Students will have their Unit 7 test on Monday.

Students took their Unit 6 test today.  Afterward they completed an anticipation guide, Q&A on evolution, and reading pages 418-427 in their textbook.  For homework, students need to complete whatever they didn't complete in class.

Students completed handouts and a lab on genetic disorders.  Tomorrow is their Unit 6 test.  A reminder to students that their genetic disorders papers are due tomorrow and to bring their textbooks to class tomorrow.
