Magnet Biology

Students watched videos and completed an activity on photosynthesis.  A reminder their cell project is due by Thursday, 2/2/12.  Their Unit 2 test will be on Monday.  Students need to bring their textbooks to class on Monday.

AP Biology

Students obtained data for the transpiration lab.  They took notes and completed collaborative essays on plants.  For homework, students should review http://www.phschool.com/science/biology_place/labbench/lab9/intro.html

Magnet Biology

Students watched a video and completed a stomata lab.  A reminder to students their cell project is due by Thursday this week.

AP Biology

Students took notes and completed a lab on mushrooms.  They also began a lab on plant transpiration and observing fungus growth.

Magnet Biology

Students completed the carrot lab and will need to complete the analysis section for homework if they did not do so in class.  They collected data for their egg lab and will complete the lab on Monday.  Students learned about photosynthesis and for homework, they need to complete the photosynthesis diagram.  A reminder to students that the cell project is due on Thursday, 2/2/12.

AP Biology

Students took notes on protists and observed protists and bacteria under the microscope.

Magnet Biology

Students received a cell project that is due by next Thursday, 2/2/12.  They worked independently on computer simulations on the cell and researched for their project.  For homework students need to complete the functions of the organells/cell parts handout.
