- Today we learned to graph and find characteristics of exponential growth functions.
- Homework: From your textbook, complete Pg. 122 # 1- 9 all. For #4- 9, graph the parent function and the given function with the new asympotote and axes. Give the asymptote, end behavior, domain, and range for each graph. Here is graph paper if you need it Download Graphing Paper
- There will be a mini-quiz over sections 4.4 & 4.4 this Friday, 3/4.
- Today, we learned to find inverse relations and write equations for the inverse relation. We also used compositions to verify that two given functions are inverse functions.

- Students were given the answers to the quiz. They are expected to rework any incorrect answers and see me if they cannot work it accurately. I will evaluate the student's work and discuss the misunderstanding with him/her.

- Today, we reviewed the concepts for Friday's test. We created a flip book for the operations of functions.

- Today, we learned how to find the composition of functions.

- The retest for unit 2 Functions test is tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 or Wednesday morning at 7:30.
- Today, we learned to perform function operations and state the domain for each operation.
- Homework: From your textbook, complete Pg. 114 # 1 - 12, 19 - 22 all. For every problem, perform the indicated operation and state the domain.
- Quiz tomorrow over sections 4.1 & 4.2 (properties of exponents, scientific notation, and function operations and domain).
- The 4.1 - 4.3 Test is next Friday, 2/18.
- Students received their unit 2 tests and all answers were provided in class. The retest for the unit 2 functions test is next Tuesday afternoon,2/15, at 3:30 and next Wednesday morning,2/16, at 7:30.
