1/11/12 Write the Equation for a Line & Word Problems

• We began with a solving equations worksheet, which was collected and graded for accuracy.
• Today's lesson continued with section 2.1. We learned to write an equation of a line given a table of values. We learned to solve word problems using linear equations.  Examples were from the workbook, Pg. 26 # 9 - 15 all.     Download Workbook Pg. 26
• In class, we practiced more word problems from a worksheet. 
  
• Homework: From your textbook, complete Pg. 26 Set 2.1 A # 1- 7 odd, 9 - 17 all and Pg. 27 Set 2.1 B # 1 &2. You must represent an equation for each word problem.     Download Textbook Pg. 26 & 27 (2.1 Set A & B)
  
• The make up and retest for the Right Triangles Trigonometry Test is this afternoon at 3:35 in my room, tomorrow morning at 7:30 in Room 505 with Mrs. Bartlett, or tomorrow afternoon at 3:35 in my room. These are the only opportunities to make up and retake this test!
